THINK FLOYD
Wishing You Were on The Dark Side

THINK FLOYD 2006 Tour Poster

On Friday 21st April 2006 I went to see THINK FLOYD yet again, this time with Terry Wilden (another friend from work). This time it was at The Wyvern Theatre in Swindon which was the first time I had attended this Venue.

This time the first half of the concert was a complete performance of Dark Side of The Moon which was played with such precision that by the time Eclipse (last track of the album) I could not believe we had had 40 minutes of Floydian Music. We then were treated to some other tracks like Another Brick In The Wall and others before the break.

The bands line-up is now:-

The second half of the concert consisted of a complete performance of Wish You Were Here, which again was played so acurately it was uncanny.

The show ended with a performance of David Gilmour's On An Island which I thought was incredible considering the track had only been released about a month.

I really enjoyed the show and thought the new line-up were tighter than ever and their light show now was like Pink Floyd themselves.
